A Flash of Fluro

As summer is just round the corner, I had to get this lovely summer jacket from Asos! It is a beautifully textured fluro blazer with gorgeous detailing such as the lovely gold zips and jersey edging.

But what exactly is fluro? Not just for highlighters and high visibility vests, fluorescent colour is one of summers hot new trends and very easy to inject into your wardrobe.

The way to do it is to invest in one item or accessory which is fluro, and it will instantly refresh your look and you will be ready for the sunshine! Whether it is a lovely fluro bag, or even fluro footwear to get some heads turning your way.
Last of all, for anyone that is a bit shy, why not try some fluro nail polish first to get you in the mood?

Here are some images to get you inspired!

Monochrome Madness

How lovely was the Louis Vuitton's spring summer collection for this year? Matching pairs of models walking side by side, being transported to the runway via an escalator!

What I really enjoyed about this collection was the monochrome outfits shown, the sixties inspired hairstyles and also did anyone notice that the LV monogram did not appear on the outfits?

Of course I have looked at some monochrome outfits that we can wear this spring/summer, I think it will be a good choice if you are not too keen on the pastels vibe thats happening.
Also if you are dressing up for an evening some red lipstick will really make an impact to your whole look.

Love that Lavender

Hair chalking has been very popular way to temporarily colour your hair, and now we are seeing more pastel shades out there.

Lavender is one of those colours which is going to be a bit hit this summer, it will look very striking with all those stripey pieces we are going to have in our wardrobes!

Also I have been mesmerised with this colour as it fits in perfectly with my cosplay for this August (designs and photos soon!)

Here are some photos to get you as hooked as I am!

First Snow

More sleep and less worrying is good for you. Or if you can't sleep, why not put your headphones on, grab your camera and take a walk.

The past weekend Bath had major snow, have a look!

I spy...apples!

Taxidermy and Textures

A very inspiring day at Oxford Museum of Natural History looking at perfectly poised skeleton specimens, mineralogy and various displays of beautiful insects.

When I walk around a museum I can only wonder how exciting it must have been to be the curator; getting a close look at the specimens, deciding which displays go together and how to overall museum will flow.

Many variations of coral can be found all over the high street and I have picked out some essentials to keep your summer look fresh and bright. Click the captions to be taken directly to the website:
